One City, USJ, 26th October 2017 – KTM Malaysia has officially launched the 2017 250 Duke and 390 Duke to remarkable response.

The event was designed to reflect on the “Are You Duke Enough?” tagline. As such, a “boxing ring” was erected as the central podium in the event area, to bring out the underground street fighting characteristic of the new DUKE.

KTM Malaysia sent out invitation cards and emails to dealers, as well as on our official Facebook page. A few online media houses also promoted the launch ahead of the event date.

More than 150 attendees arrived for registration. About 40 authorized dealers from outstations occupied 25 rooms in the e-City Hotel opposite the event venue. 38 media personnel ranging from printed and online publications, and mass media covered the launch. Other attendees included representatives from credit and finance companies, KTM Malaysia’s management and staff, Malaysian KTM RC Cup riders, other business associates.

VIPs included the representatives of the Road Transport Ministry (JPJ), Mr. Mahamad Rashid, Mr. Ahmad Abdul Hadi; Dato’ Chia Beng Tat, KTM Malaysia’s Chief Executive Officer; YAM Dato’ Seri Syed Badlishah Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Syed Putra Jamalullail, KTM Malaysia’s Chairman, and Mr. Gianluca Lozzi, Sales Director of KTM SEA.

The evening’s proceedings were handed over to Mr. Alex Copelli and Phillipp Moeller for the KTM 250 Duke and KTM 390 Duke Product Introduction.

The dignitaries then stepped into the boxing ring and unveiled the new KTM 250 Duke and KTM 390 Duke to thunderous applause, before proceeding to a photography session.

KTM Malaysia’s factory rider and 2016 FIM Asia Supermoto Champion, Gabit Saleh put on a stunt show subsequently.

The conclusion of the stunt show signaled the moment to introduce the prices of the two new bikes for Malaysia.
